And what have you done,
Another year over,
And a new one just begun.
It might not be Christmas just yet, and we’ll have to wait a little longer before we can close the book on 2021, but I can well imagine that many will be more than happy to do so. If ever there was a time period when patience was called for it’s been the last year or so.
Having said that, there is still plenty to be happy and grateful for, so let’s put the holiday season to good use. Call your family members and friends, light a fire (or turn up the heat), put some music on (and turn it up loud if it’s rock music), pour yourself a wee drink and celebrate the good days we’ve had and the better ones yet to come. We’ll get through it. We always do.
